For custom drying of all woods, Urban Specialty Woods leverages long term relationships with local kilns. We are experts at bringing your green lumber or slabs to furniture grade moisture content levels.
Joining, Planing and Custom Cutting
Urban Specialty Woods offers special milling and finishing services, including joining, using our Powermatic 16″ Helical head joiner, 25″ helical head planer, 16” Sliding table saw and 43” Wide Belt sander, with two sets of rollers. Large slabs are flattened using 5’x10’ CNC All shop services quoted on request.
